Internet and fashion icon Dallas Penn has died. On Wednesday (5/1) friends and fan paid tribute to Penn on social media, citing Combat Jack co-host as an innovator in blogging and fashion. "Some who come across this tweet won’t realize how much of a trailblazer you were in Hip Hop," wrote turntablist Rob Swift. "It was you who introduced me and many of my peers to internet streaming in the ‘90s. Thank you for your contributions to our culture. I’ll always remember your smile."

No cause of death has been announced for Penn, who told Complex that he ditched his hobby of comic book collecting and started to buy clothing. "I've given my life up to rocking fly shit," he said. "It really started for me in high school when I stopped spending all my money on comic books and got into copping gear."

Penn was later affiliated with the Lo Lifes, a crew who boosted and rocked Ralph Lauren Polo gear, before becoming the co-host of the legendary Combat Jack Show.

Rest In Peace Dallas Penn
